Description:

  • Responsible for working as part of a crew to provide high quality video coverage of assigned sporting events to feed the ThunderVision video boards in the Coliseum football stadium and America First Events Center Arena.
  • Will also work on crews to provide streaming video to ESPN+, concerts and other events.
  • May be assigned to pull cable, run fixed or hand-held cameras, run slo-mo replays, graphics, or scoreboard control.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, carry TV cameras or other equipment weighing up 50 pounds.
  • Must be available starting August 22, 2024.
  • Must be available to work over holiday break from 12/13/24 through 1/8/25 and during Spring semester.
  • Due to the variability of sports and event schedules this can never be a 20 hour a week (full time for students) job.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with video equipment, TV cameras, slo-mo replay, graphics, spreadsheets, sports statistics, or technical theater preferred.
  • Preference given to those who have completed or are taking Comm 2200 and Comm 3504.
